Privacy Policy

Who we are

Books That Help You (booksthathelpyou.com) is a digital bookstore based in Prilep. For privacy questions, write to booksthathelpyou@hotmail.com.

What happens on this site and what happens on Gumroad

On booksthathelpyou.com we present our books. When you click “Buy”, you are redirected to Gumroad (gumroad.com), where payment and delivery take place. You enter payment details (card, billing address) on Gumroad and we never have access to them. Gumroad’s privacy policy applies to that data.

Data we collect on booksthathelpyou.com

• Contact form: name, email, subject and message — so we can reply.
• Newsletter: your email, your consent and (if you subscribe from a category page) which category interests you — only if you subscribe.
• We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Hosting and third parties

• The site is hosted on Netlify. Contact messages and newsletter sign-ups are received and stored by Netlify Forms and delivered to us. Like any web server, Netlify processes technical data (such as your IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• The site’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When they load, your browser connects to Google’s servers.
• To know how many people visit the site and which pages they open, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites; it only records anonymous data such as the page viewed, country, device type and the site you came from.
• Payments are processed by Gumroad.

How long we keep data

We keep messages as long as needed to reply to you. Newsletter subscriptions are deleted when you unsubscribe or ask us to.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, and withdraw newsletter consent at any time by writing to booksthathelpyou@hotmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency.
